Mobility & Care Fund
Female academic staff (pre-docs and post-docs) at the University of Vienna can apply for a fund to cover additional childcare costs incurred as a result of a mobility stay.
Eligible to apply:
- Female academic staff (pre-docs and post-docs) at the University of Vienna who have childcare responsibilities and whose mobility stay (reason: participation in a conference/ event) is at least partially funded (e.g. travel allowance).
Requirements:
- Additional financial costs incurred in connection with attending a conference/event due to the organization of childcare (including travel costs).
- Active contribution to the conference/event
Payment:
- You will receive a daily allowance of 100 euros/day for the duration of the event/trip (maximum 7 days).
- Payment is made as a single payment to your salary account following your trip and is subject to taxation.
- The fund is capped at 1,500 euros per person per year.
